Timothy Grass

Timothy Grass is a fairly vigourous (though not when compared to Rye Grass) growing grass with a shallow root system. This system does not favour the hot weather, therefore Timothy thrives in the cooler seasons.

It tends to dislike ‘wet feet’ too and does not thrive on extremely wet land. It is, however ideal for our humid climate. and will provide a good crop of grass in most conditions. The best way to find out if it is the ideal grass for your Piggy Patch is purchase a trial size and see how it grows.
